  • react to music (rocking, facial expressions, kicking, etc.)

  • Activities and materials encourage children to dance, move, and develop their musical abilities​
a) Music and dance/movement materials and activities are available for children daily
Materials: 
  • None
Procedure: 
Hold child and “dance” with them while singing:  
5 Little Speckled Frogs,
Sat on a little log,
Eating some most delicious grubs,
YUM YUM!
One jumped into the pool,
Where it was nice and cool
And now there are 4 green speckled frogs!

4 Little Speckled Frogs,
Sat on a little log,
Eating some most delicious grubs,
YUM YUM!
One jumped into the pool,
Where it was nice and cool
And now there are 3 green speckled frogs!

(Repeat the verse with one fewer frog each time)
